Heilung “Drif”

Without looking to deep into it (which could be a grand mistake), Heilung deliver an enjoyable pagan-chant record full of atmosphere and depth. This gets sandwiched on the metal festivals and bannered as “folk,” because where else is it going to land, and what else are we really going to call it? There’s a whole sea of this genre out there, but it seems that Heilung is definitely rising to the top of that pile, showing that anything is possible in the current era.
