As much as I didn’t think this was an adjacent release to TDEP, it definitely is. And while Billy Rhymer’s chaotic drumming delivers a very familiar beat, it’s really the rest of the band that steps out of the shadows on this release to deliver a sensational album. With soaring vocals and wild riffage, there’s a ton to grasp at here that highlights this as a standout record.
