The band have exclaimed that this record is their effort to capture the glory days/origins of death metal and bring back the sound nurtured in clubs across Ft. Lauderdale between 1988-1992. They certainly deliver a thrash refresher! The band rips, the production’s dope, and the riffs are fresh. Interestingly enough, there’s not much of a difference sonically between this and the new Soulfly, but you’d never consider to call the tribal rockers death metal.
