Another collection of amazing riffs from the guitar lords of Boston. Picking up where the last album
left off, Revocation make it feel as if seemingly no time has passed between outings at all. It would take extreme review to find any nuance between this technical metal release in relation to everything else that’s been released in this space in the last ten years. There are those few moments here and there where the band lets their SikTh show, but then again, haven’t they always? Also, that riff in “Godforsaken” had me bored to tears and will probably haunt me in my dreams. Not sure why they were so proud of that one.
