Boundaries “Burying Brightness”

Boundaries “Burying Brightness” (2022) // While not the band’s most aggressive collection, there’s an interesting expansion of harmonies and melodic arrangements. Aided by some colorful riffs that spray atmosphere, rather than just alarm clock chords and pummeling breakdowns, Boundaries are working to expand their sound a bit. Which is fair, they’ve done enough in the ass kicking department to warrant a little more variety, even if it makes for a slightly less interesting record than we’ve heard from them in the past and more like a metalcore record from 2006.
