Absolutely love the snare production and the organic quality to the record, on an album that is super angry at the world. While such aggression may seem a little overboard, it’s hard to contextualize the complexity of these lives and what prompted such emotions, so that can obviously be respected, so I’ll just leave it to the songs. I expected a little more after five years between “Despondent,” but I suppose this is the type of delivery we can expect to get from working class bands without endless budgets and free time. Metalcore at this point seems finite.
