For a band with as much longevity as Cattle Decapitation, you’d think they’ve executed on their vision a dozen times over by now, but somehow on their latest release they continue to separate the men from the boys in a genre that’s got everyone confused with what is worthy and what is not. I’d say the band’s latest package is the ultimate blueprint of how to deliver extreme technical brutal death metal with a message in the most effective way possible. Fans of the genre take note, not everything operates on the same level. Cattle Decapitation proves to be one of the finest in the scene and their admirable legacy should not be overlooked.
