More like noisy, endless feedback, amirite? But seriously folks, I am all for organic recording, basement demos, trying to capture the essence of the live band, etc. but this was all purely intentional noise. The amount of squeaky feedback that just trolls what would otherwise be a pretty sweet ass punk/hardcore record make this one almost impossible to sit through twice. Maybe I just don’t get it, maybe I’m just not on the hype train. I’d rather spend time with the new Gel record if we’re already going down this lane of the ScowlSpyGel wagon that seems to be the entirety of the modern hardcore space ever since Turnstile turned down their grammy (at least that’s how I remember it).
