The wildly enigmatic avant-garde punk outfit deliver an ultra poppy banger of a record that sounds like they stole The Killers’ notebook out of their locker room. Although in true TA fashion, the band leaps over the edge on mega bangers “Modern Vanity,” and the super sugary “Burned Mind.” What a fantastic summer record that maybe just came a few weeks too late in 2023 to cap off the season, but it certainly won’t be left off a shortage of year end lists come December.
