After unleashing a wrath of head turning singles, Maryland’s art/noise outfit shape up and shave a layer of complexity that always weighed heavily on their prior releases. This is now borderline “Petitioning” era Converge and less powerviolence (although their monstrous range, electronics and ferocity are still very much present). Anyone who listens to the first few tracks that has any idea what’s going on will instantly recognize the new haircut on the riffing and groovy verses, and hey, would you look at that?
