Court Order announce new album 'Hope Dies Last', share latest single "Pigs"
New York’s Court Order usher in a new era with the announcement of their upcoming album, Hope Dies Last, set for release on August 30 via San Diego’s Slow Death Records.
To coincide with the announcement of their forthcoming release of Hope Dies Last, Court Order have released a powerful new single, "Pigs," accompanied with a Kris Khunachak-directed music video. Court Order’s drummer/vocalist Ace comments:
“Pigs is about capitalism’s hold on consumers. Everything from the endless shirts we buy to the coffins we choose and the hobbies and collections that govern our lives. The need to endlessly consume and our mad dash to source more and more and more to make it all happen are just a worthless cycle we compose while seemingly wasting our entire existence.”
The release was notably produced & engineered by Greg Thomas (END, Misery Signals), mixed alongside Chris Teti in Burlington’s Silver Bullet Studios, and mastered by Will Putney. The songs also feature the premiere of Brendan Martinez, the band’s powerful, new lead vocalist.
