I waited for the release of the EP to check out the tracks that were drip fed throughout the year, and I was pleasantly surprised with the band’s pace and crisp, brighter tuning. For as long as I can remember the earlier Bodysnatcher stuff was so ruthless it was exclusively limited to arm and chest day. But this new collection is a fresh delivery from a band that hasn’t let up since their inception. For those in the know, the closing breakdown of “Human Disdain” brings to mind those classic “The Dead Walk” era grooves.
