In a stunning turn of events, Tim Lambesis finds himself flying solo on release day on the band’s second release since his notorious incarceration. The music is mint melodic metal with thundering double bass, flawless execution and perfected leads with an occasional clean vocal segment chopped in similar ways the act’s always delivered. “We Are The Dead” is a genre classic, an instant pit activator that is a testament to the group’s legacy and sustainability over the years. While we’ve come an incredibly long way since “94 Hours” and those early days of the genre, it’s worth to wonder what Tim is getting out of all this with endless turnover with band members that just seemingly can’t get along under the moniker.
