Holy smokes! What an impressive execution of absolutely brutally insane intense death metal. I can’t possibly think of a heavier underground practically DIY record that came out this year that I enjoyed as much as this. If you enjoy blasts of all forms and are a fan of Nails’ early catalogue, then Weeping’s latest release will sweep you away. Can’t say I wasn’t expecting something glorious, but I didn’t imagine it would be this masterful. This is definitely ranking high in the year end recap and should not be overlooked by any fan proclaiming they’re into anything heavy adjacent.
