At first I thought this would be a stellar release, even though it started sandwiching the Vol. 3 nonsense that pivoted Slipknot in the early 2000’s. But by “Breaks Me Down” I was HARD staring out the window. I’m definitely interested in anything and everything this band has done since their inception, but this is sort of all over the place. If you consider what a band like Heriot has done, there’s really no need for Employed To Serve to have gone in this direction when they could’ve gone in a darker more sinister direction.
