Talk about an opener! This album gets you right from the start. A simple, forceful, solid strum with exceptional drum work to boot. The energy just never lets down and the chords are lush and melancholy. The lyrics are often childish and blather in the background, but it's obvious the core of the band cherish their instruments and have been fine tuning their craft for years. No studio magic can make a metalcore band this tight. Only passion and love for the tunes gets it done. A little bit of a stretch past Misery Signals, only not as proggy and a little less focused.
