Eastern Poles - "District Grimes"

At first glance it's a ton of fun, but after a good listen it's a tough one to make it through. "The Laughingstock" is so unashamed in its childishness that it's hard to continue listening after paying close attention to their material. Most of the licks are mundane and the vocals go from raspy wailing to low end bellows. Their djenty metal beatdown approach is exemplary and there are many who fail to accomplish what Eastern Poles managed to pull together on District Grimes. But while the production is spot on and some of the riffs can be refreshing, it's going to take a little more than synchronization to keep me coming for repeated listens.
