This may have been the first actual Dying Fetus record that turned me on to them. I was always into the other guys: Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Six Feet Under. Those were consistently my death metal "go-to's" as a kid. Not that I didn't know about them or their style, I was just consumed with the catalogues of the other guys. The production on this one is super crisp and may even be a crossover record for those who dwell in Slipknot and other radio friendly angry acts. The riffs are loaded with sick grooves and the lyrical content is intriguing and strays from your average death metal filth. Highly recommended if you've been struggling to find a way in.
