It's a toss up as a blend of Nocturne era Human Abstract meets a Daughter's song, or The Healing Process era Despised Icon meets TTEOTD's Bloodlust. My Autumn has a lot of energy, but the album really comes and goes before you know it. Part guttural, part black metal, the vocals don't maintain any sort of identity at all. Sometimes it feels like a nu-metal album, other times it feels like it's Carnifex. While the guitars do a decent job proving their shredding skills, some of the grooves tend to be a little cheesy. For what it's worth, this makes for a fun metal album that's strongly produced, when the arsenal is running low and all strong acts only release 3-4 song EPs.
