The combination of imagery and a quality sounding record pays off in their rehash of the classic brutal death grind assault. Thy Art Is Murder are as tight as ever, giving genre heavyweights Whitechapel, Carnifex, and Chelsea Grin a run for their money. It's nice to see the work payoff for this scene and how considerate each of their contributions has been to the catalogue, with the songwriting continuing to push the boundaries of what is physically possible behind the kit, mic and guitar duos. The packaging of the whole feature is to be commended and is worth noting. Holy War is as aesthetically appealing as it is fun to listen to which may contribute to their distribution that managed to get them on the charts.
