It's been a few albums and each one seems to be getting more buttery than the last. On Dark World, Beacons have solidified their execution strategy and have honed in in those elements that make a truly great deathcore record.
In 2016 we've come to expect certain heavyweights to continue to emerge with new releases. Suicide Silence, Chelsea Grin, Oceano, Whitechapel, but to add anymore to that list seems mute at this point. But for some reason Beacons definitely line up alongside some of the best in the game and shouldn't be scoffed at. Dark World is just as strong as Incisions or This Is Exile, and I'm aware that's a bold statement.
