Finally there's an accessible point of entry for hardcore enthusiasts to engage Cruel Hand properly. For the longest time, the band's catalogue has been a mixed bag that sent listeners in endless directions. While Cruel Hand's shows have always been predominantly hardcore, the sounds coming from their speakers have always been a little off. With their latest installment it sounds as if all that touring with their hxc brethren has done them a load of good in creating a concise release.
Not that the band's pst efforts have been garbage. In fact they were unique in their own right and slightly intriguing. But this release finds the band beating down temptation, and focusing on the aspects that make them who they are, as well as give those eager to support the band (this guy) an album to share with friends to get everyone else on board.
