Die Young "No Illusions"

Super brash, GWAR sounding Die Young come off on a true ripper of an album. While perhaps some of the songs go on for a bit too long, their hardcore approach of ripping and wailing certainly doesn't fall short of excellence. At sixteen tracks, No Illusions isn't an easy one to make it through but it's certainly worth a visit if you think the current metal scene has fallen asleep. When it comes to this stuff Eternal Sleep may be holding the title belt, but Die Young doesn't give up a round without getting a few punches in first.
