Dysrhythmia "The Veil Of Control"

While Evan Brewer is really everything and anything that musically inclined listeners seek after in instrumental music, it's always great to get a range on the board of choices. The instrumental trio strikes again with moody elements that drive us listeners deep into the minds of masters. Wild bass loops zip by, with eclectic guitar noodling and thumping drums to set the tone of the backdrop. Without vocals, the band is able to keep things interesting enough for the album's quick run time.
While we wait for ballads on the album that never arise, we are littered with sludge themes that have never been explored in past releases. At a time when metal music is at an all time all-you-can-eat buffet, Dysrhythmia drop anchor in a space very rarely explored successfully by the competition.
