While Ringworm should never be overlooked, it's obvious they're at a point in their career where they're just keeping up with their creative output to remain occupied. While the production has certainly improved throughout the years, Snake Charmer doesn't shed any new insight on the band, that's been pretty much a one trick pony since their inception.
On their seventh release, Human Furnace & co. are back to grinding axe riffs and two step breakbeats that will get the new kids and legacy fans diving off the stage at Black Bear Bar in no time. At this point in their career it'd be nice to see the band roll call some hardcore heavyweights into their roster, adding SOME new dynamic to their tunes. But for now, it's just another Ringworm record with a super sweat cover.
