The brilliance of the duo strikes again, this time with an even more accessible collection than ever before. While Phantgoram has always had a strong ability to orchestrate epic jams with a smooth alternative appeal, Three certainly reinforces the act's genius and gives that extra variety that's been missing in their catalogue.
It's obvious there are clear, identified hits on this record. "You Don't Get Me High Anymore" is certainly more persona than we've seen in any of their other releases, unveiling a face of the band that's been necessary since their inception. "Run Run Blood," another instant wow moment in what has already been an absolutely sensational career.
It's obvious why Phantogram can continue to book Madison Square Garden and sell it out every time. While Three is a quick ride, adding much needed dynamics to their set, it's still such a strong release for a brand that's already accomplished so much in a relatively short amount of time.
