The Last Ten Seconds Of Life "The Violent Sound"

For those who have been following this band since their origins on the blogs, The Violent Sound will instantly blow you away. The Nu-Metal approach apparent from the first track and opening line on "Little Black Line" is so far removed from the band's prior release and their "Break Stuff" cover days. Perhaps it's the inclusion of a new frontman who brings a new life to the band, or perhaps it's the exclusion of cheeseball lyrics flaunted in your face that made the band seem like a child's game. For whatever it's worth, the combination of elements between beatdown and slapstick seem to be more cohesive than anything Gift Giver's ever done, making this release necessary to understand the total circumference of acts that are out there muddling on the circuits.
