This is a part of the new wave of hardcore that sits next to Krimewatch and Queensway. Jukai are more about feeling and attitude than production concerns, and their EP is bound to resonate with hardcore kids who want to karate kick across the room while they crowd kill. The bass slinging riffs alongside some of the run of the mill verses make for a sweet combo, and even though it's obvious this has been heard countless times before, Jukai are a refreshing spin on what all hardcore purists have come to adore throughout the years. Functional, punctual groove that only Snapcase has expressed repeatedly in their career before they through in the towel and became a nostalgia act.
