This must've been what Metallica sounded like to metalheads in the early 1980's when Kill 'Em All dropped and instantly spun heads worldwide. Only back then, no one knew to call themselves a self-proclaimed "metalhead" just yet. Now in 2017, Power Trip's attitude resonates with the hardcore community, but their thrash tendencies are evident in their sound, and they play more like a Megadeth than they do a Cro-Mags. Nightmare Logic is a real smooth listen and while they may dabble in the classic tendencies, their production is top notch. Their latest installment finds the band developing their catalogue and aiming the chamber at their audience. Be prepared for full assault. This one's worth the attention.
