Don't let Ice-T's involvement turn you away. Body Count actually makes for a pretty decent aggro band. The crew knows how to pack a punch and the riffs and beats are super tight. What is hard to avoid is Ice's lyrical venom, which at times spews as almost juvenile of sorts. The attitude is one that can be found on the latest Attila record, but unlike those dudes, this content is hardly convincing. Ice is almost sixty years old, it's not uncommon for a man who's spent his entire career earning a ruthless OG reputation to spit back in the face of those who've snubbed him. There just probably is countless other ways to express that emotion than the childish banter that litters an otherwise pretty decent record.
