At times rocking out like a Polar Bear Club record and at times showcasing true Jimmy Eat World tendencies, Have Mercy have the guts to let it all hang out. While being roped in to the tiresome Turnover, the band are more like the Citizen in the room. With big rock hooks like what's found on the closer "You Made Me," as well as album pinnacle "American Bliss" Have Mercy seem to be doing their part to catapult their career into the big leagues. Let's hope this is the album that gets them right behind a headliner on a summer fest.
