In case you're just dropping in now, Kreator has been around long enough to keep tabs on the growth of the thrash scene since its foundations. While more of an Overkill or a Testament than a Metallica or a Megadeth, Kreator churn up a relatively relevant new release. While the vocal approach and the comedic lyrics can be a little over the top (just check out "Satan Is Real" for reference), it still makes a decent thrash album while the greats hunker down in their silos until they dish up new essential classics.
