Instantly bringing to mind the genius of Loma Prieta, No Omega do everything they can to sustain the energy of their album opener throughout the record. Wailing strums and vocal straining unleash a wrath of emotional fury throughout a dozen tracks. It's obvious the band is very passionate about what they do, and their record brings to mind the gnashing of teeth that only Johnny Truant knew how to execute so well. While the sound does get a little stale by the time the album wraps up, there's enough variety here to make it easy to indulge in repeated listens. Also, songs like "Unsociable" remind listeners of early Poison The Well before glossy-sheen production bastardized everything.
