They've always had the same charm for two stepping, meat and potatoes HXC, but nothing is more prevalent on their latest discography snippet. It's a tight punch to the gut with less than a half dozen songs to show the scene that Vogel is still as vigilant as ever. The riffs rip like a buzzsaw and the drums pound feverishly behind. For only nine minutes in length, I'd say Pure Noise did a phenomenal job capturing Terror in one of their finest moments.
