On their twelfth installment, Iced Earth expand their legacy even further with classic thrash tendencies. The Judas influence is stronger than ever, and Stu Block's personality as the voice of the band fits proper. Iced Earth has been one of thrash metal's b-side acts for thirty years, and the fact that Jon Schaffer continues to find fresh blood to fill the ranks of the band and rock out with enthusiasm is still as shocking as the quality of the band's release. Here's to hoping they'll grace a festival headline in the near future.
