THE RECENTLY ADDED

Bad Sign "Live & Learn"

These guys are to Basick Records what Emarosa was back when they launched their debut on Rise Records when the label was super focused on hardcore acts like American Me, Recon, Legend, and Bleeding Through. They're also the Silent Drive of the Equal Visions community when Converge seemed to be the most important thing in the world from that department. There's an eclectic pallet at play here, with soaring melodies and hooks, long played out strums that have earned their days in the sun, and pounding drums that somehow seem to contain and hold it all back while still being so unrelenting and appropriate. This is a standout record for a remarkable label that's making all the effort to spice up the aggro scene with every release.
