Alongside the school of bands like Iron Reagan and Municipal Waste, Cannabis Corpse deliver an exceptional death metal record, while having an extraordinary amount of fun to boot. Comparing those three acts is pointless when describing their sound because they're all different variations on the aggro metal and punk/hardcore sound, but there's certainly a six degrees of David Witte that we can play with all of them.
Regardless, what is fun is the puns the band leverages when mimicking Cannibal's creative efforts. Even without the marijuana fueled theme and the jokes aside, the record plays convincingly enough to warrant the attention of any fan of the metal community. Oddly enough, it stands on its own and continues to drive the band's legacy of heavy anthems all about weed.
