THE RECENTLY ADDED

My Children, My Bride “Vicious World”

Another metalcore thriller returns to form with a new record to try and squeeze back into the scene. These guys never really stood out amongst the greats like Bury Your Dead and A Day To Remember, which were all coming out and sprouting gleefully at the same time. While all three bands have clearly had varying degrees of success in their destiny, MCMB were often times placed as a headliner or direct support due to their professional presence. I one time saw the band at Fuel Coffeehouse (RIP) in Jacksonville, FL and the drummer stalled for over thirty minutes to get his In-Ears working, which seemed like an extremely posh move. The record is standard fare and doesn’t chart new terrain, but there’s nice variation in the vocal department which never really showcased itself on prior releases.
