Corrosion Of Conformity “No Cost No Crown”

Long associated with the EYEHATEGOD/Phil Anselmo clans of the world, COC return with another album of metal monotony. This honestly just sounds like everyman’s local band, sent out on the road to carry the burden of their sound. There is no appeal to this besides a casual listen, and it’s absolutely mind blowing that the band has lasted this long. The solos are standard fare, and the drums and grooves are really just stale as anything dads in a garage have accomplished on their downtime from work on sundays. If anything, start here if you think you’ve been missing out on anything to get quickly caught up.
