This Long Island group brings to mind the early days thrash legacy Anthrax and delivers a force of sound to chart new terrain for the genre. While the band executes the sound at a high level and is smooth in its approach, it’s the same sound we’ve heard a thousand times before. While purists will come running straight for devil horn glory, those of us who’ve been around long enough to know may find ourselves choosing between Power Trip and these guys before diving in for a repeat spin.
