Not only do they both stay true to the classic formula, they both revive classic tendencies from legacy acts that are starting to run on fumes in the metal community. Iron Reagan pick up right where they left off on Crossover Ministry and dish out less than ten minutes of ferocious energy, while Gatecreeper brings the intensity of their death metal execution across a handful of tracks. For those familiar with the band, you’ll find a great pairing of sounds, and it’s also a great exposé for those who are arriving late to the party.
