THE RECENTLY ADDED

Melvins “Pinkus Abortion Technician”

While it feels like it was only ten minutes ago that the lush and polished A Walk With Love And Death arrived, here is the band’s newest addition to their discography in the form of nine tracks in less than forty minutes. That’s worth noting as Osborne & Co. have a tendency to linger in the studio without turning off the record button. The tracks are fun and punctual and get straight to the point and can even be considered as a port of entry for newcomers who’ve slept on the band for the last thirty years. The songs here are good and not just artistic musings or ramblings, and there’s hardly any filler on the album. Oddly enough, it may even be my favorite Melvins record.
