If you’re into Basement, and prefer their emo parts over their punk elements, Lume is for you. These guys are excellent songwriters and deliver subtle songs that ooze borderline emo like lava over headphones. This is a warm listen, meant for hazy early mornings as you pour a black coffee into a jug. For those dark days that seem like Tuesday #4,012, and there’s no possibility of a way out, this one’s for you.
