There will never be enough bands who take Whitechapel’s founding sound and ride it to the grave. Obliterate execute that brutal death metal assault with grace, and the group seems to have a tight grasp on delivering super intense, extreme, aggressive, technical metal. If that’s your thing, you will not be disappointed on this one. “Impending Death,” and “I, Cerebrus” should keep anyone banging their head long after the songs are over.
