Sevendust “All I See Is War”

Their latest record finds the band slamming hits like their glory days. Lajon has a tight leash and doesn’t go soaring off into senseless melodies that sail off into space. Instead, the big hooks are honed in, and don’t stray too far from center. A great example of this is “God Bites His Tongue” which may just be the song of the year. The infectious melodies that made the band’s first four records are back, and for those who stepped away from the band should find something to make them come back on their eleventh release.
