Parkway Drive “Reverence”

Aside from the few odd moments of random spoken word, the band beefs up their artillery and deliver a professional, buttoned up record to reveal their persistent drive and contributions to the modern metal community as they pump out ten tracks worthy of headlining terrain. It’s obvious that the band is focusing on solid structure, with big hooks and choruses to drive chants and infectious listens littered in hooks. Although the band claims to be more than a metalcore staple, they still heavily exist as just that, and regardless of how many vocals they layer over breakdowns and leads, it is still very much their DNA and it’s great to see them as energized about their sound as ever, still defending their brand.
