The band that brought the childish crabcore of Life Cycles is gone, and we welcome a new era for the act that’s long struggled with their identity and the ability to write good songs. While the act always had the “almost” factor in each record, the band finally breaks big and writes some of their strongest material to date. For those unfamiliar with the band, the evolution won’t seem apparent, and for everyone else it’s certainly not what happened to The Plot In You or Pianos Become The Teeth. But for those looking for big hooks and catchy bubblegum with a few crunchy riffs and sprinkled slams, this record is for you.
