THE RECENTLY ADDED

Culture Abuse “Bay Dream”

This lush, cherub-rock acts returns with another collection of brooding love songs. Although there’s been a huge leap from Peach the band still stays true to their simple-is-best formula and rocks out smoothly over the course of the record. There’s a few highlights and standout sing alongs, the lyrics are overly sentimental and will make any lover miss a former flame, and all in it’s a super smooth listen, that’s perfect for the pool or a solid beach day. Here’s to hoping the band shapes up their live form and stop shaking foolishly, because as soon as their frontman opens his mouth, it’s all over for their set, regardless of how good the songs they wrote back home and perfected in the studio have a tendency to be.
