The band marches forward in refined form, bringing to mind a modern interpretation of Ozzy classics and Screaming For Vengeance era Judas. The Pink Floyd tendencies are in full effect and there are countless keys that send this collection of tracks to the moon and back. The production is satisfyingly lush, and the hymns are presented in a smooth, digestible format, layered with solos and big drum fills to justify the arena rock budget. Ghost may be headlining field festivals before long.
