Perhaps trying to blend Deafheaven’s strummy-blast beat packed approach into a sludgy groove-oriented sound is a neat formula. Problem Of Pain deliver an aggressive record that shreds as much as it pounds, and doesn’t let up for the slightest bit. Reminiscent of early Converge and Relapse Records cult classic Burst, this band recorded a deep collection of tracks to help them shine in a crusty scene.
